Panzerkampfwagen IV Ausf. J

Modelled and skinned by: S.Gautreaux -iNw- h&k
Scaled and converted by: Scimitar

948 polygons, 2 256x256 8-bit bitmaps.

This model was originally the Panzer IV Ausf. E with a short cannon and no additional armor, poly count ~650. Adding the additional armor plates and more defined barrel added about 300 polygons. It is the highest poly count DOD model I have made. The model is in 2 parts (turret and base) which allows the mapper to chose turret rotation and placement.

SdKfz 173 Jagdpanther

This model was modeled and textured by h&k. Since he requested that someone convert it to an mdl so that it could be used as a prefab in maps I decided to give it a shot.

All I did was convert it from 3DS format to mdl format. It's scaled so that it should appear to be approximately the same size in-game as a real Jagdpanther would. I had to make a slight change to the texture (due to a H-L compile bug) to get it to line up properly on the model after it was compiled. The change was nothing major though. All I did way shift the texture to the left one pixel so that unwanted seams wouldn't show in places that they shouldn't. There are two versions of this model. One is gray and the other is yellow. Both were textured by h&k.
